First Singaporean Company to Enter Lloyd’s Lab

Protos Labs, a cyber risk company accoladed by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), has been selected to join Lloyd's Lab Cohort 11. The Lloyd’s programme is a prestigious fast-track program to co-develop innovative insurance products with the Lloyd's market. We are grateful for the opportunity to be one of the 12 selected out of 150+ applicants worldwide. We are also the first Singaporean company to make it into Lloyds!

Lloyd's is the largest insurance market in the world, founded in 1688. Made up of over 50 leading insurance companies, 200 brokers, and a network of over 4,000 coverholders, the Lloyd’s market offers resources and capability to develop innovative new products and scaling that across 200 territories.

Over a period of 10 weeks, the team at Protos Labs will be working closely with Lloyd’s mentors, gaining access to the coworking space in the iconic Lloyd’s building in London, and finetuning our solution alongside esteemed insurance executives.

The new theme introduced this year is “Asia-Pacific Climate Risk, Cyber and Sustainability", and it couldn’t be more timely as APAC emerged as the no.1 hotspot for global cybercrime in 2021. The team at Protos Labs put forth a frontier approach, where we combine 2 real-time risk solutions - underwriting and risk orchestration - to create a closed-loop ecosystem that derisks insurers and lowers premium prices for the end-customer.
